September 7, 2009

Labor Day gave me a chance to plant some fall flowers and fertilize the shrubs in the back. I received a call this morning from a friend inviting me and Deborah to a cook-out this afternoon, but my bride had to work until 6:00 PM so I decided to stick close to the back 40. I drove up to Brooks Park this afternoon and sure enough, a multitude of boaters and bass fisherpeople were
having a good time. That's what today is all about. . . . by the way be careful about drinking and driving: the Chickasaw "thin-blue line" is out and about this evening.
