You think your day was busy? You don't know busy! We had three events ALL starting at the same time. The Tomato Walk at Burrell Park for the Garden Club. . . The coastal Clean-Up at Brooks Park and work on reconstructing a wall at Mrs. Pierce's home, all at 8:00 AM. Ervin Dailey registered folk for the Tomato Walk, but left a little early for the clean-up and had to return for folks that came by late. The Coastal "pick up trash till you drop" also went fast and well since there was less debris than past years. Because I arrived late at the construction job, I was designated as the gopher. I had to "Go For" 6" anchor bolts, shovel, and broom. Then I was sent back out for an 80 lb sack of concrete and a trowel. We were able to get the sill plate cut and drilled, the concrete pad leveled and the anchor bolts into the concrete before the rain started.
