This morning I had a conversation with the mayor about the direction toward financial solvency we are choosing and what the numerous boards can do to help. He has asked me to meet with several potential new business prospects. This afternoon I met with Mrs. Irene Deaton and her son, Andy up at the old drugstore. They gave ne a tour of the entire complex including all the way around the rear of the premises. The Commercial Board is going to work on a plan to help her with the property after we get an accurate assessment. I then took photographs of business property that is vacant for our grant writer. Tonight I will attend the Tuesday Council meeting.
