Sunday the 8th was a triple celebration. . . a good message at Mass, then Thanksgiving lunch at the Parish Hall AND a celebration of Shorty Lumpkins birthday. Shorty is the groundskeeper for the church as well as the greeter for all the Masses and he turned 75 today. So after the turkey dinner with all the trimmings, his cake was presented along with Happy Birthday sung by about 200 people. This afternoon Deborah is off to a bridal shower while I go watch the guys fly model airplanes.
