At 10:00 AM this morning the EMA and mayor and council met to officially declare the Safe House Grant awarded. It will take time to seek contractors and get the grant administration underway. I was scheduled to attend by had to take care of business here including picking up my son Mark from the airport. He is here for the Thanksgiving Holiday and daughter Courtney, Stuart and granddaughter Debbie Jo will be driving in tomorrow. Will try to show up at Council Meeting tonight, but we'll see how things work out.
