We had a Port Of Chickasaw Consortium meeting this evening at 5:30 PM where Glenn Brannon from EMA spoke to us about emergency preparedness and the advantage of having an evacuation plan for our port business. When that was through, we met at City Hall to welcome Cheryl Morgan and her team of nine other architects, landscape designers and city planners. They are from Auburn University and are here all weekend at the Civic Center to listen to input from citizens and help us discover a new city within our borders. We outlined assets, dreams and aspirations and the history of Chickasaw to give her a "jumping off" point. Tomorrow I will show up to watch them work. pictures: Glenn Brannon at Consortium, Some of the audience at City Hall.
