After several sound system quotes to Atlanta and Coral Gables, I was on my way to my quarterly doctors visit. In the afternoon I spoke to two of my Commercial Board members and the city grant writer. We are trying to get this popular downtown Mobile restaurant to open a franchaise in Chickasaw. I finally found time to give my bride one of her requests. . . . plant the Satsuma Orange Tree. Picking a spot where it would get plenty of morning sun, I gave it a good start, watered and wished it well.
