It was one of those days when it appears that nothing will turn out right and good fortune comes along and smiles your way. We learned that our representative Randy Davis was not going to be able to show up for his speaking engagement, but he was sending another
speaker, Dr. James Gordon of the 98th district. When Gordon pulled a "no-show" I figured we were in trouble. But I asked our Mayor, Byron Pittman to speak and he saved the day. We also awarded the Business Of The Month to Margaret Czajkowski from Hancock Bank (see picture) Mobile Gas sponsored the meeting and we had a terrific crowd of over 45 persons
