Had an appointment at H&R Block for the annual: "Pay the Government what you owe, but not a penny more" day. After lunch I met with my friend Ed Baxley to discuss the city. It was time for the Opening Game with the Baybears, where many of the Chamber Of Commerce meet to watch our mayor throw out the first pitch. While the game was a little chilly, it is always exciting to help them start off the season. I did not get to blog yesterday, but it was spent attending Kiwanis where George Givens received the Hixon Award and ended the evening watching Teresa Goolsby show slides at the Historic Society meeting with my wife.
