Today was a busy one for the "Tom-Meister". It was my turn to give the program at the Garden Club, so I spoke about wildflowers and azaleas in Southwest Alabama. Everything from the 300 varieties to the low pH needed for the soil. Then after I had baffled them with brilliance, I came back two hours later for the Chamber's Small Business Workshop. Tom Siegwald from the Center For Entrepreneurial Excellence gave us a short course in preparing a business plan and the importance in doing so. An hour and a half well spent.
