Kiwanis Club met at noon today and we voted to donate $1,595. to Childrens and Womens Hospital. It was good to see Gerald Easley and Louritha Nicholson at the gathering, since we haven't seen them in a while. After some business was taken care of in Saraland, I returned to attend the Chickasaw Historic Society. One of the
revelations coming out of tonights program is that the old Drug Store at 43 and Viaduct Rd. dates all the way back to 1922, which would indicate that it was originally built by Tennessee Coal and Iron right after World War I.
