Today the Kiwanis met at Market By The Bay In Fairhope, thanks to Horace and Bonnie Allen who personally underwrote everyones lunch. It was a good get-together with our speaker being the restaurant owner. He related the problems occuring after the oil spill getting people to trust Gulf seafood even though exhaustive tests had been run. The media in combination with the claim process created enormous headaches for business owners. And to top it all off, any proceeds from BP are fully taxable.
