I had the opportunity to be invited to Chickasaw First Baptist Church to eat a tasty lunch of spaghetti and toasted garlic bread today. The main speaker was Dr. Paul McClendon from Clarke County who informed us about what matters in life. . . . not to get so busy accumulating wealth that we can't reach out a hand to Christ when he calls us. "Just like the wheat grains that die and fall to the ground and are covered with moist earth. . . . they spring up again and grow into healthy living plants that continue God's creation." Some of the city's pastors and council were in attendance at the church.
