Last night's fish fry was a great success with over 190 diners eating at Parish Hall or taking out some tasty fish and fries, hush-puppies and slaw. Today's activity centered around the unveiling
of the new city plan for Chickasaw. Some of the ideas are remarkable including a named industrial park on Telegraph Rd. and an extension of West Lee into Miller Park housing the fire station, a new City Hall and Library with a turnaround in the street. Highway 43 would become Kraft Boulevard with narrowing of lanes, bicycle paths and safe crossings into the retail centers.
Ambitious undertaking, but worth the promotion to developers. I can't wait to reveal this remarkable design to some of my friends looking for a growth and investment project.
