When the City Of Chickasaw closed down the JC Davis Auditorium we lost the ability to cook large meals for events and Holiday dinners. So the obvious fix was to move to the Civic Center.
But to our dismay, it was not an approved site for a commercial kitchen, having no triple-bay stainless steel sink or approved freezer. With a little scraping of the cookie jar for needed funds,
we've been able to refinish the late obsolete kitchen and it will be completed next week. Here's a sneak preview of some of the changes taking place.
