At Kiwanis we voted to give Jim Trout the Hixun Award and Adam Bourne presented us with new road signs for the club. Our speaker today was Robert Mc Gee who heads up the Cleveland House in Saraland. The Cleveland House takes care of special needs citizens where they meet
every Tuesday from 9 AM until 2PM. There are square dances, picnics and assorted outdoor activities.Unfortunately time has taken its toll on the location at the end of Norton
Ave. and water leaks and wood rot have brought about more maintenance than the non-profit can afford to sustain. One of our members, City Code Inspector Carnes Craig has agree to do a check on the building, find the cause of the damage and our club will make an effort to be of some help.
