This morning Mayor Pittman, Chief Reynolds and I went downtown to South Broad Street to talk to Fred and Rose Pollman about opening a bakery in Chickasaw. They are willing to meet with us to discuss a good location. Later in the evening, Frank Coate and I attended the conferring of the 1st degree for the Knights Of Columbus on six candidates. It is a solemn and impressive ceremony. Two of the fellows are from our council.
