At Kiwanis today, Rev. Spencer Walker spoke about the trials and tribulations they have had getting into their new church, Center Point Assembly Of God. They found out that the land they had purchased, which is about twelve acres, was essentially deemed as "wetlands". This forced them to deal with the Army Corp. Of Engineers and ADEM, who can be particularly picky about what can and cannot be done to interfere with those wetlands. After much negotiation and the use of other Chickasaw churches, Spence decided that God used this to bring their members closer to the other church congregations.
