This was opening night for the Mobile Symphony at the Saenger Theatre. Scott Speck directed several familiar movements including Capriccio Italien Opus 45 by Tchaikovsky and Pines Of Rome by Respighi. The crowd was delighted with both and after the concert a private party was thrown for the musicians and season ticket holders. Wine and heavy hors de oeuvres were served.
