This morning Deborah and I attended services at the Chickasaw First Baptist Church where I assisted Billy Stone on their new thirty-two channel mixing console. Pastor Creel was very kind and appreciative in thanking me in front of the entire congregation.
After the service we decided to eat lunch at Dick Russell's Barbeque in Tillmans Corner. We haven't been there in years. As we remembered, it was great. . . I used to take dates there in the 50's when my mom and dad first moved to Chickasaw.
Coming home, we pulled out a DVD movie we had not yet seen and spent the afternoon in the warm den, out of the brisk cool air.
