This morning Kathy Couey cancelled the Christmas Parade, my afternoon meeting with the mayor and several attorneys was postponed because Byron was still in Houston and it will more than likely rain out Artwalk downtown. But did I pout?. . . . . no indeed! It was a perfect afternoon to put up the tree and call old friends in Atlanta and Louisville. I wished them all a Merry Christmas than set about placing ornaments and garland on that lit, green invader residing in the den. Ho-Ho.
