This morning I attended the Saraland Harvest Festival for my first time. Lots of air-filled jump-up-and-downies for the kids, hot dogs and hamburgers, just about any other kind of food and many crafts stands. They even had Forest Lawn giving away burial plots. I saw
leather lanyards, hand-crafted wallets and sculpture made from old, painted light bulbs. My Chamber Of Commerce buddy, Mandy Trout made a cute carnival "barker" with her wireless microphone, thanking all the participants for coming to the event. While of course, I am partial to our Founders Day, here in Chickasaw; I've got to say it was a fun experience.
