Well today was Community Service work for Chickasaw. Earlier this summer Jenny Bourne had done a terrific job of enriching the soil and planting begonias and sweet potato vine in the Mauvilla Forest Estates sign just a few hudred feet from her home. What with many rainy days and that good soil, a multitude of vines, briars and generally choking weeds sprang up. So after hearing Deborah say a couple of dozen times: "When are we going to do something about the sign
on Sutherland?", I jumped up out of bed and said "Let's go!" (It was more like: "Do I have to?)
But it was all good! I guess we will plant some mums in keeping with the season, but the largest part of the work is done. . . Hoo Hah!!
