It was certainly the right day and the perfect weather for the Mobile Botanical Gardens tour. Just amazing how many beautifully groomed estates there are on Old Shell Road. My friend, Jim Hand, owns one of the properties and we had a good time exploring all the gardens, some of them rose, some of them vegetable and all of them meticulously manicured with care. It was hard getting me away from the pool, but we picked up many great landscaping ideas.
