It's almost showtime! Just a matter of stocking the town's Dollar General and we will be off and running. The Chamber and City plans a "ribbon cutting" but it's just a little early to pin down an exact date. The outside is virtually finished and they are waiting for
delivery of the shelves, carts and cash registers. Dollar General started in September of last year to buy the property with an anticipation of opening before Thanksgiving 2009, but there were so many leins and legal hurdles to jump. that it set them back several months. Now, with all that behind them, we eagerly await the doors swinging open.
