At Kiwanis today our speaker was Randy Davis, representative from our area. Randy spoke of bills introduced and passed by the state and sent on to the Senate. One of those bills was a carte-blanche "open" bill on gambling and the other is a new energy bill to capture the Carbon Dioxide from coal plants, such as Barry Steam Plant and send it by pipeline to natural gas deposit areas like Citronelle, and use it to pressure the natural gas out of the ground. Of course, some of the more vocal, liberal members of the club criticized the finances of Chickasaw and threatened to
create problems at the next council meeting. You never know what to expect at some of these club lunches. Hey, that's what makes America great!
