Today, there was a lot going on in our small community. I had to miss my model railroaders meeting so I could intercept folks coming to the rescheduled Gumbo Cook-Off. Ed Baxley, Janice Chitty, Ervin Dailey and I sat with a city patrolman to make sure everyone was informed. Meanwhile, across Gotham City the North Mobile Garden Club was "cranking-up" the tour of homes which extends from Creola to Chickasaw. I was then off to buy a mothers day gift for my bride.
